NC Contact Trim/Check App performs the dual roles of trimming the NC fingers to the components to be welded during the design stage and validating the contact between the fingers and the components prior to drawings release.

The manual process of identifying all NC fingers in a tool and the matching contact verification with the welded component is a tedious process and is prone to manual oversights that prove costly.

The NC Contact Trim/Check App provides a facility to identify all the NC fingers upfront, to avoid subsequent oversights. This app also provides a facility to select the components to be welded, as a group.

The app the automatically identifies the nearest component faces to the NC finger and trims it to ensure proper contact with the component.

During the checking stage, it identifies all NC fingers, compares their gaps from the component and classifies them as touching / interfering / having clearance. The information is provided in a HTML report with visual aides which helps  to quickly identify and rectify the mistakes.
