In BIW fixture design and manufacturing, checklists are critical quality control tools that help us to identify pitfalls right from the project launch stage, and reduce the risk of time and cost overruns that impact the organization, and most importantly, the customer satisfaction. These checklists help users to verify the process inputs, incorporate best practices from past learnings, and are a must for any organization involved in complex product design / manufacture​​

However, these checklists are usually maintained in excel / paper copies, and are to be updated every day. This is an arduous process and requires separate team members to just to collect the necessary information from various departments and update the checklists regularly, so that the management can monitor these processes.​

The integrated checklist app provides a facility to create and link multiple checklists to NX CAD data which helps in updating the design & manufacturing checklists  in an efficient  manner.​

This app two modules. The admin module helps in creating a variety of design and manufacturing checklist templates. It will also define the access rights so that only authorized users can access and update the checklist data.​

The users can then access the templates and populate the data as required.​

The QC module checks all the defined checklists , and provides a comprehensive report  about the checklists, highlighting the missing information and / or unfilled fields in the checklists​
