Summary

Adding manufacturing process related notes is an activity that takes a significant time of the designer. This activity has seen a tremendous amount of automation.​

However, despite these automation efforts, there are still some notes that need to be manually added, which slows down the drawing creation activity. Any modifications to the existing programs requires a lot of programming effort. This app augments the existing notes automation effort, to provide customized notes.​

This app two type of facilities. The first one is the admin app to create a new pallet of custom notes to be added. These new notes can be created in separate groups as per various client specifications. This segregation helps in efficient retrieval of the required custom notes. This admin app also provides facilities to add / edit / delete the from the existing pallets.

The other app will be used by the designers, who simply invoke the notes from the various pallets. This notes can be placed as plain text or as tabular text, based on the specific drawing requirements of various OEMs.​
